⚠️ EMERGENCY NOTICE: If you are experiencing severe facial swelling, difficulty breathing or swallowing, call 911 and seek immediate care
Granite State Smiles Project is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to funding dental treatments for the working uninsured.
If you received a call or email from the Granite State Smiles Project (GSSP), welcome! We are a local, virtual nonprofit in New Hampshire.
We help working, lower-income patients pay for the dental care they need. If we are contacting you, it means one of your patients has been approved for funding through our program.
Here is what you need to know about working with us:
We know your time is valuable. We keep our process incredibly simple so you can focus on patient care, not paperwork.
Step 1: We Verify Funding. Once a patient is approved, we will contact your office to confirm their treatment plan and the estimated cost.
Step 2: You Provide the Care. You treat the patient in your office just like any other patient.
Step 3: Direct Payment. As soon as the treatment is done, we pay your clinic directly. We do not send cash or checks to the patient.
No Medicaid Paperwork: We are not a government program or a traditional insurance company. We do not require complex, time-consuming insurance claims.
Fast, Direct Payments: We pay you directly using secure digital payments as soon as treatment is verified.
You Keep Control: You are the doctor. You decide the clinical treatment plan that is best for your patient.
Because raising donation money takes time, we know a patient's teeth or dental needs might change while they are waiting for funding.
If you see the patient and realize they need a different treatment than what was first approved:
Pause and let us know. Have your billing coordinator email or call us with the updated treatment plan and the new cost estimate.
We will adjust the funding. We will do our absolute best to quickly update our system and verify the new amount so you can proceed with care.
Questions? We are here to help! Please contact our office coordinator directly to verify a patient's approved funding or to submit an updated treatment plan.
We thank our local New Hampshire dental community for helping us restore smiles!
