At Granite State Smiles Project (GSSP), we believe that everyone deserves a healthy smile. Sadly, going to the dentist is often just too expensive. We are a virtual, online nonprofit built to help people in New Hampshire get the dental care they need.
Our mission is simple: we help pay for dental care for working adults in New Hampshire who do not qualify for state Medicaid dental benefits. We send these payments directly to your dentist to cover the cost of care
Many hardworking people are stuck in the middle. They make too much money to get dental help from the government (Medicaid), but they do not have dental insurance through their jobs.
When a simple tooth problem is left untreated, it can quickly turn into a painful and expensive medical emergency. We step in to help cover the costs of dental care before things get worse.
We keep things simple, fair, and safe:
We Are 100% Online: We do not have a physical office or building. Working online keeps our costs very low, which means all of the money we raise goes straight to paying for dental care.
We Pay the Dentist Directly: To make sure all money is used honestly, we never send cash to individuals. Instead, we pay the dental clinic directly after they treat a patient.
We Keep It Fair: A small committee reviews every online application using a fair scoring system to decide who we can help. Application are reviewed on a rolling basis as funds are available.
